Card #1: Repeating Words

To create this card, I stamped out the sentiment, “ETERNALLY GRATEFUL” 5 times on Adriatic Cardstock and heat embossed them all in White Embossing Powder. Then, I trimmed them all down to leave a thin border around each one. Next, I added some Pine Ink to some Adriatic Cardstock to darken it up a bit, then created rectangle blocks to back the words. I popped them all up on a piece of Kiwi Cardstock using foam tape. Next, I trimmed down the Kiwi Cardstock to leave a thin border around the rectangles. Then, I layered it all onto some Canary Cardstock and then to a Dove White card base.

To finish off the card, I heat embossed the final sentiment: “for your friendship” in white on some Pitch Black Cardstock. This repeated word technique I picked up from Online Card Classes Spring Card Camp #2!

Card #2 I Love You

For my second card, I created a more straightforward project with the main image of the stamp set.

To begin, I added some Berry Smothie & Taffy Hero Hues Reactive Ink and to the edges of some Ivory cardstock with a blender brush. Next, I stamped out the main heart image with the same colors, blending them right on the stamp with a blender brush. I repeated this process with the smaller hearts in the stamp set. Finally, i stamped the sentiment in Intens-ified Black Ink and popped up the panel onto the font of a Dove White card base with foam tape.

For my first card, I created a shaker window element on the front of my card base cutting a rectangle out of a panel with a craft knife. Then, I made an accordion fold with some of the patterned paper to go under the window. Next, I adhered some acetate to the back of the window frame and added some sequins onto the accordion folded paper. I popped up the window over the accordion paper with foam tape and adhered everything to a card base. Then, I die cut and stacked some of the flower elements from using the dies included in the kit and the colored cardstock. I also added a heart and a sentiment ephemera to the front. To finish off the card, I stamped the invitation grid from the stamp set in the kit on the inside.

For my second card, I cut an angled panel out of some patterned paper from the kit and adhered it to the front of the card base with some double-sided adhesive from the kit. I adhered some of the foam letter ephemera from the kit down the front left-hand side to form the words “COME OVER.” Next, I popped up a guitar die cut image to the left and added some sequins to finish it off!

For my last card, I adhered some wood print patterned paper onto the front of a card base and trimmed off the excess. Next, I trimmed an angle onto the front of a white panel and adhered it to the front of the card. To finish off this 2-minute card, I added some of the ephemera and die-cut images from the kit to the front.

This kit has sooo much more to offer, than these three cards can show! You can find tons more inspiration on the Spellbinders website! Also, my friend Marie Heiderscheit, always has some amazing inspiration available on her blog, here!

For my first card, I created a shaker window element on the front of my card base by die cutting acetate with the main die. Since the acetate was very thick, I trimmed it out the rest of the way with snips. Then I added another die cut element on top, that I had inked up with some Gina K Skeleton Leaves Ink.

Next, I added a sequin mix from my stash to my card in a little pile, doubled up on some foam tape under the shaker window and popped it all up over the sequins. Then, I pulled out some of the adhesive butterflies and stuck them on the front of the window. And to finish off the card, I stamped the sentiment, “hello lovely” to the front with some Hero Arts Intens-ified Black Ink.

For my second card, I stamped out the jar image from the stamp set and colored it in with blue-green Copic markers. I stamped some of the butterflies inside the jar and colored them in, too, with one extra outside the jar. Then, I fussy cut it all out and set them aside. Next, I added some Pool Party ink from Hero Arts in a gradient from the bottom corner. Over that, I stenciled in the leave by die cutting them out and using the negative space as a stencil.

Then, I added a few strips of the patterned paper from the pad in the kit along the bottom. Next, I die-cut the Lovely word twice in white and once in metallic cardstock and stacked them up for dimension. I stamped just the word “hello” on the jar and adhered the die cut “Lovely” under it.

To finish off the card, I colored in the sprigs with Copic markers, adhered them to the front of the jar and popped everything up with dimensional square adhesives from the kit.

20200511_125702.jpg

For my last card, I stamped out the kitty and sentiment from the kit onto the front of one of the included card bases using Hero Arts Intens-ified Black Ink. Next, I colored in the cat image with cool gray Copic markers and added grass around him with a Mono Drawing Pen. Then, I die cut the flowers several times from white cardstock. I adhered them in an array around the kitty, colored in the centers with a blue-green Copic marker, and added a stem with my Mono Drawing Pen.

Finally, I stamped butterflies up above the kitty with Blue Raspberry ink from Gina K. Then, I added some black definition to the centers and antennae with a Mono Drawing Pen.

This kit has sooo much more to offer, than these three cards can show! You can find tons more inspiration on the Spellbinders website! Also, my friend Marie Heiderscheit, always has some amazing inspiration available on her blog, here!

Kit Contents:

  • 6" x 8" Clear Stamp Set

  • 7 Coordinating Frame Cuts

  • 7 Envelope Art Icon Fancy Dies

  • 3 Karin DécoBrush Metallic Markers (Gold, Pink & Blue)

  • 5 White A7 Envelopes

Kit Value: $79.99

Kit Cost: $34.99

Card #1 Lightning Strikes Twice

I created several cards and envelopes with the main kit and add-ons. You can watch a video introduction of the kit and add-ons here along with a lightning background tutorial using Hero Hues Reactive Inks and a white gel pen.

I won’t go into the details for these first projects, here, because I detailed them on the video!

Card #2 Rainbow and Balloons

This cloudy sky scene dies really steal the show in this release. I think I’ve seen them on half the project. They are a must add-on. Here, i made stencils out of them and used Hero Hues Reactive Inks to blend them onto the panel.

I die cut the balloon dies from the kit and fussy cut the rainbow and clouds image. I colored it in with Copic Markers for a bright rainbow! Did some popping up on foam tape and fun foam and voila!

Card #3 This Time with Glitter

Card 3 is just a lighter background with a darker rainbow. This time I added glitter to the hot air balloons!!

Card #4 Let’s Dude This Up

For my last card, I used the Airplane Fancy Die and colored it in with warm gray Copics. I used the Sun Background Stencil and Cloudy Sky Scene Dies to create a subtle background with White Unicorn Pigment Ink. The sentiment comes from the main kit stamps and I heat embossed it on black card stock.

I hope you have enjoyed this release and these projects. If you have been inspired to shop for these supplies, please consider using the affiliate links in the grid below. I will received a small portion of the sale at no additional cost to you.
