Hey there Arties! Today is release day for the Hero Arts June 2020 My Monthly Hero Card Kit!! This summer has a ton of NEW items. I have highlighted a few products for you today. I hope you’ll enjoy them as much as I did!
Card #1 Creating 3D Effects!
I created several cards for the kit. Here’s a video for the 3D effects card! I won’t go into detail here on the blog for it, but it is worth check out on video! I promise!
Card #2 Blue Whale of a Card
For this card, I stamped the background image out in blue ink, masking in the water several times to shorten the sky and bring in more of the ocean. Then I ink blended the sky green and stamped the whale shooting up out of the water! I added some white gel pen highlights to the sky. Then, I created a sentiment strip with Pitch Black Cardstock!
Card #3 Rainbow Lights and Silhouette
For the third card, I created a rainbow ink blended card panel. Then, I stamped the background cling stamp with Unicorn White Pigment Ink from Hero Arts. I stamped and die cut the sailboat and bird stamps from the main kit and colored them in with Copic markers to match the background. I white heat embossed the sentiment, “Your are Wonderful” on the front and popped it all up on some fun foam!
Card #4 Die Cut Stenciled Card
For this card, I used the die cut tree line to stencil in an ethereal arctic forest with a narwhal and birds using Hero Hues Reactive Inks in blue and violet shades: Thistle and Splash. then I stamped the bird image and narwhal image with Indigo and Orchid Inks from Hero Arts. To finish it off, I used Intens-ified Black Ink to stamp the sentiment.

From Hero Arts: We are working on restarting our operations in a safe manner, bringing back our production and shipping teams with social distancing, and keeping our warehouse cleaned under the strictest standards.
