Catherine Pooler Designs - Fly Daddy Hop + Giveaway

Hey there, Artie! Happy to see you here today for the release hop of the Fly Daddy Collection. Be sure to comment below for your chance to win a $25 gift certificate to Catherine Pooler’s shop. I’ve created a several cards for this release, I hope you enjoy them as much as I did making them.

The Fly Daddy Collection includes:

Here are a few of the cards I created with the Fly Daddy Collection! The first one I simply stamped out the rod & reel image along with the sentiment in Midnight Ink. Then, I stamped and die cut the lures and tackle with Fiesta Blue and Lime Rickey Inks. I cut a strip of the Too Fly Patterned Paper and adhered it to the front of the card base just below the sentiment. Then, I adhered the die cut images over the front with Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive. I finished off the card with some silver sequins from the Blackfoot River Sequin MIx.

For my second card, I die cut an oval in the bottom left third of my panel and stamped DAD on it using Midnight Ink. Then, I cut a block of the plaid paper out and adhered it to the front of my card base. Next, stamped out the fish image using Lime Rickey and Fiesta Blue inks. Then, I stamped the rod & reel with Midnight Ink and die cut them both with coordinating dies. Next, I popped up my panel onto the card base with fun foam, leaving the patterned paper below it. To finish off the card, I adhered the die cuts to the front along with a mix of sequins from the Blackfoot River Sequin Mix.

My shaker card was created much like the 2nd card, but with a larger hole in the center, and an acetate window adhered to to the panel. I popped it up on foam tape and added a strip of the patterned paper to accent the bottom right!
