Del & Artie Live: Turnabout Stamping Techniques Recap

Project #1 — A Two-fer!

If you plan your project beforehand, you can be sure to save some time and money on your projects by making the most of your supplies. Here, I made ONE background, but got TWO cards out of it! Woot Woot!!

Project #2: Painted Dots Hello

For this project, I used some Woodland die cut animal images I had stamped, die-cut and saved beforehand! This is a great time-saver. When you already have a turnabout stamp in place and you have coordinating dies for it, go ahead and stamp out several of the images onto some die cut pieces of cardstock. I like to stamp out the turnabout completely, then die cut the images. Then use the negative of the die-cuts to position my blank die-cuts and stamp them. You can create of TON of these little stamped images this way in no time. For the hello in this project, I stacked several and my last one I dipped into my ink pad to color it Peacock. I ran the vellum through my Xyron Machine to add a consistent adhesive background. I die cut the circle out of the middle of the turnabout panel first and popped it up on foam tape!

Project #3 Autumn Season of Thanks

Everyone seems to turn to Thanksgiving at this time of the year. And we have so much to thank God and others for. So a ton of thank you cards could be in order! I used the vellum technique again for this card.

Project #4 - Hello Krafty Kard!

For this project, we created a background with neutral colors: Wheat, Mushroom, Intens-ified Black, and Unicorn White Pigment Ink. We also covered it all in Icicle Embossing Powder from Brutus Monroe. Here, I trimmed down the turnabout background and added a stitched hello die cut and some hearts in coordinating cardstocks to the front.
