Hey there Arties! Today is release day for the Hero Arts Summer 2020 Catalog!! This summer catalog has a ton of NEW items and some favorites from last year. I have highlighted a few products in the catalog for you today. I hope you’ll enjoy them as much as I did!

Card #1 I Heard It Through the Grape Vine
To create this card, I die cut the Grape Vine Fancy Die out of some Dove White Cardstock three times. I colored the top one with some Copic markers in greens, yellow-greens, violets, blue-violets and red-violets. Then, I stacked the three die-cuts adhering them with Hero Arts Precision Glue to the front of an A2-sized card base. To finish off this card, I stamped a sentiment from the Vineyard HeroScape stamp set on the card base with some Intens-ified Black Ink.
Card #2 A Mountain Lake Vacation
For this card, I stamped and die cut the tress, hills and mountains using the Color Layering Mountains at the Lake and coordinating frame cuts. I used some Lapis cardstock and ink blended the water in front with Deep Ocean Ink. I buffed the hills with some Cup o’ Joe Ink and an ink blender brush. I layered the trees with Field Greens and Green Apple inks. And I used Soft Granite for the mountains. Next, I added some White Embossing Powder to the tops of the mountains. Then, I layered everything together on a 4 x 5.25” card panel. I masked off the mountains and very lightly added some Summer Sky ink in a gradient going upward. Next, I stamped the sentiment, fisherman, fish and tackle images onto the lake with Intens-ified Black Ink. I added some ripples in the water with more Deep Ocean Ink. To finish off the card, I adhered it all to the front of an A2-sized card base!
