Hey y’all!! Daniel here, super glad to have you visit my blog today. The Brutus Monroe Inspiration Team Blog Hop features the B|M subscription items for the month of May. My card in particular shows off the May Stencil of the Month and a sentiment from the latest Inspiration Box.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
To create my card, I trimmed down an A2 sized panel out of some Bristol Smooth Cardstock.
Then, I blended some Sea Surface Ink over the panel with a Life-changing Blender Brush, to create a vignette with the lighter area to the left of the panel.
I sprayed the May Stencil with Pixie Spray and laid it over the inked up panel.
Afterward, I took out some Pearl Metallix Gel from Therm O Web and spread it over the top of the stencil with a Deco Foil Stencil Pal.
Then, I pulled up the stencil and took it to the sink for a wash. I put the gelled up panel aside to dry for day.
I cut the panel up into four unequal pieces and popped them up on an A2 sized card base with foam tape.
Then I inked up a piece of cardstock with the Sea Surface Ink and let it dry and I cut a circle out of it with my Brother Scan n Cut.
Next, I stamped a sentiment from the Beautiful Botanicals Stamp Set from the April Inspiration Box onto the circle and heat embossed it with Alabaster Embossing Powder.
I adhered the sentiment onto a larger circle die cut from some B|M Heat Resistant Vellum and then adhered them both to the front of the panel.
To finish off my card, added some sea colored sequins from my stash to the front of the sentiment circle.
