Hero Arts Holiday 2022 Catalog Release

Hey Artie!! I am here with Hero Arts and the new Holiday 2022 Catalog.

Be sure to leave a comment on each stop in this hop for a chance to win one of three $50 shopping sprees to heroarts.com.

Card #1 You Light Up My Life

For my first card, I stamped the CM648 Holiday Candle Arrangement out on a piece of Dove White cardstock with Intense Black Ink and colored it in with Copic Markers (R29, R27, R24, R22, G28, G17, G12, YR16 and Y11 .

Then, I stamped the sentiment in Intense Black Ink and trimmed down my panel a 1/4” on all sides.

Finally, I popped it up on foam tape over a Side-folded Dove White Card.

Card #2 Angels We Have Heard On High

This HF105 Stained Glass Angel Hot Foil Plate can create a stunning look with no color added. But I wanted to add a beautiful blue Copic background and some details to the angel, so after foiling the angel with Spellbinders Gold Foil on Hero Arts PS782 Deluxe Smooth White Cardstock, I added some B99, B28, B26 and B24 to the background. Then, I blended in some YR31 with a colorless blender on the angel.

I trimmed it all down a 1/4” on all sides and popped it up on foam tape over a side-folding Dove White card.

To finish it off, I added a Merry Christmas sentiment from the CM634 Holiday Borders and Icons set by stamping with Embossing & Watermark Clear Ink on Pitch Black Cardstock and melting Gold Embossing Powder over it with a heat tool.

Card #3 Holy Night

This card features the DF075 Looking Glass Nativity die set. First, I die cut all the pieces out and trimmed them down to fit inside a frame.

I colored in the pieces with E89, E87, E84, E44, E42 and YG95 Copic Markers. Then, I stacked them with Precision Glue and framed them with the square from DF017 Looking Glass Circle & Square Frames in Pitch Black Cardstock.

Next, I took a panel of Periwinkle Cardstock and added some Nautical Ink in a gradient to the top right and bottom left of the panel with a Hero Tools Blending Brush. I left a light beam down the middle and added some stars with a white Posca Paint Pen.

Then, I trimmed it down a 1/2” on all sides and popped it up on the front of an A2-sized panel of Periwinkle cardstock with Nautical Ink swiped over it “direct-to-paper” style.

To finish it all off, I adhered the scene to the front and the same sentiment as card #2.

I have other cards I created with this release. Stay tuned to the blog for more from the catalog. You can also keep an eye on my Instagram grid here: instagram.com/delandartie.
