Hey my friends! Today is the release day for Picket Fence Studios, August 2021 collection. This release is full of goodies you won’t be able to resist!! I have several projects to share today and tomorrow with you. And I wanted to start out with this bookish little girl who stole my heart — Your Next Book
Card #1 — This is not Pippy Longstocking - but I love her anyway.
Steps To Create This Card
First, I created a side-folding card base with white cardstock by cutting a sheet of 8.5 x 11” card in half. Then, I scored it down the middle with a bone folder and a Scor-Pal.
Then, I stamped the girl image onto the front with Black Hybrid Ink and colored her in with Copic Markers.
Next, I stamped her out again on the wide Mint Tape and fussy cut her out to mask the colored image.
Then, I masked off a third of the card, top and bottom, with Mint Tape from Scrapbook.com. Grab the bundle and you get two 1/2” rolls and a 4.25” roll.
After that, I added some Mint to Be Ink over the top with a Life-changing Blender Brush.
Finally, I stamped the sentiment with Black Hybrid Ink on the front with my MISTI!
