I joined up with some friends from the Hero Arts Creative Team to share an Instagram Hop, too. I’d love for you to head over to Instagram to see the Unity Instahop. I’ll give you all the details on the card below!
Card #1 — We are All One
Steps To Create This Card
First, I created an A2-sized card base with Dove White cardstock but cutting an 8.5” x 11” sheet in half long ways and scoring one piece in half.
Then, I stamped the little girls stamp onto some copy paper and fussy cut it out with scissors to create a mask.
Next, I stamped the same image onto the front of my card base with Intensified Black Ink and covered it up with the mask.
Then, I coved the card base with the Frayed Edge Masking Stencil. I tore the edge of a piece of Post-It tape to match the frayed style and masked off the bottom of the stencil opening about half-way up.
After that, I blended three colors of ink up from the bottom of the stencil to create an ombré background.
Next, I colored in the image with blue, yellow, orange and skin-tone Copic markers.
To finish off the card, I stamped a sentiment on the right with Intensified Black Ink.
Del buys his Copic markers at Violeta Ink!
My friends at Hero Arts, Dana Joy and Pocono Pam are such fun. I know you’ll enjoy the instahop if you head over to see all the Unity creations.
