Hey my friends! What a great release from Picket Fence Studios! The July 2021 collection seems endless. I have several projects to share with you over the rest of the month. Chilly the Gnome is a companion to Billy the Gnome, whom you’ve already met!
Card #1 — Chilly the Gnome
Steps To Create This Card
First, I die cut the Chilly the Gnome image out and colored the pieces in with Copic Markers.
Next, I adhered all the pieces of the gnome together with Bearly Art Glue.
After that, I stenciled the Paper Glaze Ombre Pumpkin Spices over the Arctic Winter Stencil to some white cardstock with a spatula and let it dry.
Then, i trimmed down that panel a 1/4” inch on all sides and then angled bottom to a point and popped it up over a card base of white cardstock.
Next, I created a circle of vellum with the circle die from the Slimline Die Cutting System and adhered the Chilly to the front.
Then, I stamped a sentiment from the Joyeux Noel stamp set in PFS Black Hybrid Ink on the cardbase.
To finish off the project, I glued down some Sands of Time Gem Mix to the front.
