Hey there Arties! Last night on Del & Artie Live: Spooktacular, we created a haunted scarecrow scene and a window scene looking out on a zombie graveyard using the Hero Arts Graveyard Hero Scapes Stamps, Wheelbarrow Friends Stamps, and Copic Markers.
Tomorrow, Monday, November 2, 2020, the November My Monthly Hero Kit releases at 1pm Eastern.
You can watch the replay of last night’s live here! (It has a scary theme to it with a terrible horror story, too. So if you are not into frightful ghost stories, please, don’t read on and definitely do NOT watch this video.
Card #1: Dying Scarecrow
To create this card, I stamped out the scarecrow image from the Wheelbarrow Friends Stamp Set onto some Dove White Cardstock with Intensified Black Ink.
Then, I colored in the image with Copic Markers in the photo below +BV21, BV25, BV29!
Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment in Platinum Embossing Powder and adhered the panel to a card base.
Supplies List:
Card #2: Zombie out your window!
To create this card, I die cut the Paper Layering Window Shutters out of black cardstock and out of the center of a Dove White card panel.
Next, I inked up the top two thirds of the Dove panel with the Crows and Autumn Leaves Bold Prints and some Wet Cement Ink.
Then, I stamped out the graveyard scene on another Dove cardstock panel with Wet Cement, Soft Granite and Charcoal Inks.
I added some fog to the stop with Fog Reactive Ink and a blender brush.
Next, I adhered the black shutters to the front of the card with Precision Glue and some black trim along the sides of the window.
To finish off the card, I adhered it to the front of a cardbase and added some rhinestone embellishments around the sentiment.
