Hey there Artie!! I’ve been thrilled with the newest Hero Arts My Monthly Hero release for October. The theme this month has a real Nordic/Scandi folk art feel to it. So I wanted to create a card that totally pays tribute to the inspiration for this release.
Card #1 - Joy - Nordic Folk Art
To create this card, I stamped out the holy family using the Floral Nativity Stamp Set, along with images from the Dala Horse and Christmas Folks Stamp Sets in a symmetrical pattern with Navy Ink.
Then, I colored in some of them with R37 family and B39 family Copic markers. I added some white gel pen highlights to bells and the veils.
Next, I trimmed the panel down to fit with a broader border on the bottom. To finish it off, I popped it up on some fun foam with Precision Glue over a Dove White Side-folding Card.
