Tonic Studios New Stamp Club - September 2020

Hey there Arties! I have a new Stamp Club to announce for Tonic Studios!! This club is not a subscription, but a fun release of stamps and dies with coordinating storage every month!

This month’s Heartfelt Corsage stamp and die will only be sold as a bundle. And there is limited Stock available - once it’s gone, it’s gone for good.

Retail value of bundle is $39.99 so this is a $5 savings. These products are exclusive to Tonic Studios & inspired by Maria Willis (my buddy @cardbomb). Tonic dies are amazing and come precut/separated with no burs!

Stamps & dies come in high quality plastic envelopes with a tab for labeling and binder holes on the side. Compatible with A5 ring binders.

Steps for Creating Card #1 - So Many Layers

  1. Stamp image of corsage on cardstock with alcohol friendly ink. I used Gina K Amalgam Ink.

  2. Underpaint the image with gray alcohol markers for shadows. Then fill in the flowers with your choice of colors.

  3. Die cut the image with coordinating dies.

  4. Trim a piece of cardstock to 4.5” x 3.25” and another just an 1/8” larger on all sides.

  5. On the larger panel, smear some English Heather Embellishment Mousse on all the edges and set it aside to dry.

  6. Run the smaller panel through your die cutting machine with the embossing mat and the Fantasy Floral Stencil, to create a dry embossed background.

  7. Adhere it to the moussed panel and popped them both up on the front of the card base with foam.

  8. Adhere the die cut corsage image to the front with Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

  9. Heat emboss your sentiment on a piece of colored cardstock with white embossing powder and adhere it to the front!

  10. Finish off the card with your favorite clear embellishments!

  11. I created an envelope to match as a bonus, using the Happy Mail Art Stamp Set.

Steps for Creating Card #2 - One Layer Wonder

  1. Stamp image of corsage on cardstock with alcohol friendly ink. I used Gina K Amalgam Ink.

  2. Color in the flowers with your choice of colors. I started with the darker colors first, then added the lighter.

  3. Draw a frame around the image using the ruler in the Tim Holtz Media Kit as a guide.

  4. Heat emboss your sentiment with gold embossing powder.

  5. Adhere the panel to the front of a card base with Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive!

  6. To finish off the card, I added some white details to the flowers with a White Gel Pen.
