Now for my project today, I did a super fun and easy card using dark brown cardstock with two powders. The very brilliant pink, Conversation Heart, stars as this month’s embossing powder. I also used the stencil of the month for January 2019 and a sentiment from the January 2019 Inspiration Box.

I cut down a piece of brown cardstock to 4” x 5.25” and laid my stencil over the top of it. I smooshed a B|M Embossing ink pad over the stencil, making sure to cover every little heart. I embossed the stenciled image with the Conversation Heart embossing powder and repeated this step once again.

Then I stamped the sentiment in the lower right hand corner of the panel and heat embossed it with Alabaster embossing powder.

I popped up the panel onto a top-folding A2 sized card base using B|M Black Foam Tape.

I hope you enjoyed this heat embossed valentine. Maybe you’ll give it a try, too! Go shopping for supplies using the list I created below. And hop along to see the B|M Inspiration Team members’ favorite techniques.
