Card #1 — Pink Happy Birthday
For this project, I used these goodies from the Splendor release:
S880 Whirl Flower Die
SF364 Neatly Knitted EF
st0153 3D Foam Strips
It was a straightforward card to put together. The Whirl Flower Die si very intricate, so I recommend using a Gemini Jr die cutting machine if you have one. These cut with more pressure than manual machines.
I cut each flower out of three different pink cardstocks and added some blue-violet ink to the outsides in a gradient toward the centers using a blending brush.
I ran another panel of pink cardstock through with the Neatly Knitted Embossing Folder and adhered it to the front of an A2-sized card base. Then, I glued some of the flowers down with liquid adhesive and popped others up with SSS 3D Foam Strips.
To finish it off, I added a Happy Birthday from the Hero Arts Stamp and Cuts XL Message Strips on Black Cardstock with White Embossing Powder.
Card #2 - Chocolate Funny Bunnies
When I saw the Bunny Kisses stamp set, I knew I wanted to do this card. It’s an old Facebook meme that still makes its rounds at Easter. And because I’m 12 years old, I still laugh to hard at it.
The Splendor items I used here are:
3025ssc Bunny Kisses
1019ssc Pot O’Gold
I just stamped it all out in brown, pink, blue and yellow inks. The letters are from Hero Arts but they’re not available anymore, so use any alphabet set you have.
Card #3 - Pot O’Gold
For this one, I used, just the;1019ssc Pot O’God stamp set. I colored it in with Copic Markers. Then I cut it with the Tim Holtz Deckle Trimmer. I mounted it over a piece of Gold Mirror cardstock and popped that up over a spectrum of colors I blended around the edges of a white card base.
Card #4 - Gift Boxes Birthday
You tell me in the comments how you think I made it!
