Ellen Hutson Spotlight Post -- Creating a Birthday Card without Stamps.

Hey my friends! Today Is my first day sharing goodies from Ellen Hutson as an official brand ambassador! I decided to create a card with no stamps, only dies. This still shows off my style, but with no markers or pencils or colored inks. I even threw in some hot foiling for a starry background.

Steps for Creating Card

  1. To begin, I die cut the happy birthday die three times out of Pitch Black Cardstock and stacked them together over the shadow die cut with liquid adhesive.

  2. Then, I foiled a panel of white cardstock with the Tiny Stars Background, copper foil and a hot foiling machine.

  3. Next, I die cut some stars out of white cardstock several times using the Essential Stars dies.

  4. After that, I dipped some in Versamark Ink and melted copper embossing powder over them with a heat tool.

  5. Then, I popped up the sentiment over the foiled panel with foam tape and trimmed the panel down a 1/4'“ on all sides.

  6. Next, I added the stars and sequins to the front with liquid adhesive and finished it all off by popping it up on the front of an A2-sized card base.
