Project #1 — Red Desert Sun
Supplies:
Watch the video to see how the fun I had with this kit!
Steps for Creating this Card
First, I stamped out the Road Signs Bold Prints in Crimson and then in Intens-ified Black Ink.
The red panel, I trimmed down a 1/4” on all sides and covered with two layers of vellum. To adhere vellum I prefer to run it through my Creative Station Lite for a uniform adhesive backing that doesn’t warp the paper.
Then, I popped it up on the front of a card base.
After that, I stamped one of the signs in Crimson and Indigo ink, masking each end of the sign off each time to create a red and blue sign.
Next, I fussy cut some of the signs outs and colored one in with a Y18 Copic marker.
Then, I created some sentiment strips by stamping “Let the adventure begin” from the Seaside Highway HeroScape set onto Pitch Black cardstock with Clear ink and melting white embossing powder over it with a heat tool.
Finally, I used Circle Infinity dies to create a ring out of Dove White cardstock and popped it all up on the front of the panel and added some drops of Hero Pearls White for shine.
