Before seeing my projects, I’ve added a grid of the items I’ll be playing with over the next bit. So if you don’t see a card here with them, you can anticipate some in the next few weeks.
Card #1 Tiptoe Through the Tulips
For my first card, I stamped out the Tulip Bouquet with Intense Black Ink and stenciled in the colors over it with Butter Bard and Red Royale Inks. I added a bit more detail with some YR Copic markers. I also stamped out the little snails and lady bug and colored them in with Copics. I stamped a panel of Canary cardstock with Clear Ink using the Tulip Bouquet Stamp. I die cut a piece of Dove White Cardstock with a Wood Frame Infinity Die and glue a piece of acetate behind it. Then, I popped it up over the Canary Cardstock panel adding some Icicle sequins before sealing it up. I created a sentiment strip with Pitch Black cardstock, White Embossing Powder, Clear Embossing and Watermark Ink and a heat stamp from the Color Layering Bunny stamp set. To finish off the card, I die cut all the pieces and adhered them to the front of the shaker window with Precision Glue.
Card #2 Flowers for My Valentine
This graphic and stylized bouquet called Flowers in Vase has a coordinating set of stencils available. I paired them for this project and added details with Copic markers, as well.
Card #3 Koi Pond Dream
For this card, I used the Koi Bunch stamps and coordinating frame cuts. I colored in the image with Copic markers and a gold gel pen. For the background, I added some Navy ink to an Adriatic Cardstock panel with a blending brush. I also stamped some of the rocks from the Koi Bunch on the Adriatic panel and colored them in with a gold gel pen. I die cut the Koi Bunch with its coordinating frame cut and and popped it up on the front of the Adriatic panel. Then, I trimmed down the Adriatic panel a 1/4” on all sides and popped it up on the front of a Dove White card base with foam tape. I created a sentiment strip with Pitch Black cardstock, Gold Embossing Powder, Clear Embossing Ink and a heat tool. To finish it all off, I added some Clear Enamel Dots to the front and some white gel pen.
