Hey there Arties!! I’m happy you have stopped by for the release day blog hop and video for the Hero Arts My Monthly Hero February 2022!
Our February My Monthly Hero release was inspired by the art of the Surrealist masters and the magical imagery of dreams. Let your imagination soar with the playful drawings as you arrange your own creative scenes. There are nine different messages to include on your card or project, and the kit is rounded out with black watercolor paper, a water brush, and a custom Daniel Smith watercolor paint palette.

Project #2 — Star Wreath Dreams
Supplies:
Platinum 6 Die Cutting Machine ($89.99 at Scrapbook dot com)
Steps for Creating this Card
First, I die cut the Star Wreath die out of Dove White Cardstock and pressed the die cut into Clear Ink.
Then, I melted Gold Embossing Powder over it with a heat tool
Next, I die cut a circle out of a panel of Dove White Cardstock and adhered the gold embossing star wreath behind it with a generous amount of Precision Glue.
After that, I trimmed that panel down a 1/4” on all sides.
Then, I ink blended another panel of Dove White Cardstock in with Grape Juice, Navy, Antigua and Butter Bar inks and die cut that out with a larger circle from the Nesting Circle Infinity Dies set.
Next, I adhered the ink blended circle onto the front of a card base with Precision Glue and added some stars, a moon and a comet to the front with a gold gel pen.
After that, I popped up the star wreath panel over it with foam tape.
Then, I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment from the Dream Messages stamp set on Pitch Black cardstock, fussy cut it out and popped it up on the front of the card with foam tape.
To finish it all off, I added some Clear Enamel Dots to the front.
