Hey Artie! Del, here, with the latest release from Colorado Craft Company. This is the August 2021 Reveal and it is soooo good. This reveal adds entries in the Whimsy World and the Big & Bold lines. There are lots of bird cages and flowers and even a humming bird!
Hibiscus Card
Steps to Create this Card
For this card, I stamped the image of the hibiscus array in the Big & Bold Hibiscus Hummingbird onto some white cardstock with Picket Fence Black Hybrid Ink.
Next, I created a mask out of copy paper by stamping the image again on copy paper and fussy cutting it out with scissors.
Then, I rolled a Repositionable Adhesive Dots over the back of the mask and covered up the image on the cardstock with it.
Next, I used some Hero Arts Blending Brushes to blend some Passionate Pink, Tangerine Twist and Wild Dandelion ink from Gina K over the entire panel.
After that, I removed the mask and colored the image in with Copic Markers: W1, W3, W5, YG67, YG63, R89, RV09, R29, YR09, YR04, YR14. (I buy my Copic Markers from Violeta-Ink.com)
Next, I added some white Posca Paint Markers dots on the petals.
Then, I stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set in Picket Fence Black Hybrid Ink.
To finish off the card, I added some Trinity Stamps Boiled Sugar Hearts and Drops with Precision Glue and adhered it to the front of a Dove White Side-folding Card.
