Hey there Arties! I have the joy of sharing the Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month for April 2020 with you. This month features a lot of fun ephemera, stamps, dies, and supplies in spring colors! Of course my favorite thing about the kits are the gold foiling and cardstock, so you will see them on all three of my cards.

For my first card, I stamped out the behive and bees images from the stamp set and colored them in with Copic markers.
Then, I die cut the bees and fussy cut the hive. Next, trimmed the gold embossed honeycomb paper down to a 4 x 5.25” panel, then knocked off corners to make a point! I popped it up on the front of one of the card bases in the kit using the foam adhesive provided.
Then, I adhered the bees and hive to the front of the patterned paper. To finish off the card, I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set in black along one of the angled sides of the pattern paper.
My next card was so fast, but I loved how it came out. In the kit is a set of sticker ephemera. I arrayed them on the front of a card base horizontally. Then, I added two hearts and drew a line connecting them all. I finished it off, by stamping a sentiment in black under the banner!
For my last card, I used the dies in the kit to create a cameo centerpiece. The frame, cameo and sentiment I cut from the gold metallic cardstock in the kit. I cut a center for the frame out of navy cardstock and made it a background for the cameo. Next, I adhered it all to the front of a 4 x 5.25” card panel. Then, I popped up the cameo with foam adhesive and glued the ribbon to the back of her head.
To finish off the card, i stacked the sentiment die twice and raised it all up on fun foam!
