Hey there Artie! On Saturday, I showed you all my new watercolor set Paula bought me for Christmas. I hope you don’t get tired of seeing Payne’s Blue Gray, but I will be showing off some backgrounds with this medium over the next three days. Each day, I will feature a pairing with a fun Hero Arts stamp set.
Today, I pulled out the You’re My Universe stamps and coordinating dies to create a gorgeous watercolor card.

Steps to Create this Card
To create this card, I wet a panel of watercolor cardstock with the 3/4” brush with clean water.
Next, I dropped in Payne’s Blue Gray watercolor onto the wet paper and let it run down from the top of the paper.
Next, I stamped the stars image images across the panel with Clear Embossing Ink and melted Silver Embossing Powder over them.
Then, I heat embossed the moon and cloud images with Silver Embossing Powder and die cut them with their coordinating frame cuts.
I trimmed the starry, watercolor panel down to about half and adhered it to the front of a Dove Side-folded card base with Precision Glue.
Next, I popped up the die cuts on the front of the card with foam tape.
To finish off the card, I stamped the sentiment, “Follow Your Dreams”, from the You’re My Universe stamp set in Intense Black Ink.
