Hey there Artie!! The window dies from Hero Arts make for truly classy and beautiful cards with a simple die cut panel and a few extra touches. Let’s make a card with the Rolling Hills Window Die that came out with the November 2020 My Monthly Hero!
Rolling Hills Window Die Card

Steps to Create this Card
To create this card, I created a rolling hills background with violet copic markers. It was initially a cloudy sky, but maybe you can imagine it is both! hehehe.
I dotted the background with a Posca White Paint Marker. (Let me know when you’ve seen too much of that marker on my projects!! I just love it and bought it in a smaller size, too)
Then, I die cut the Rolling Hills Window out of a Dove White Cardstock Panel, trimmed down to A2 minus an 1/8” all around.
Next, I die cut and stamped the fawn image from the I Love You Deerly stamp set.
I colored in the fawn image with brown copic markers and his feet with a black marker, adding dots back in with a white gel pen.
Then, I popped up the window panel over the purple background and an A2-sized card base.
To finish off the card, I adhered the fawn and some rhinestone embellishments to the front of the card with Precision Glue.
