Hey there Arties! Del here with a wintry full moon card featuring the Hero Arts Color Layering Howling Wolf Stamp Set and Hero Hues Reactive Inks.
Project: A Wintry Wolf Scene
To create this card you’ll need:
Instructions:
First, I stamped the outline image of the wolf with Intens-ified Black Ink using my MISTI Stamping Tool on to a 4 x 8.5 folded slimline card.
Next, I added the two layers of the wolf in Passionflower and Charcoal Inks.
Then, I added the moon with Orchid and Embossing Watermark Ink, melting some clear embossing powder of the top with my heat tool.
Next, I drew in hills and trees with my Copic Multiliner Pen.
I stamped the wolf out onto some Gina K Masking Magic paper, fussy cut it out, and covered the wolf image with it. I also masked off the hills with Post-It tape.
Then, I blended in the sky with a blender brush and Thistle, Grape Slush, and Blue Hawaii Reactive Inks over everything.
Next, I added a violet shadow under the wolf with Copic V04 and V01 markers.
I sprayed large drops of water over the project, picked them up with a paper towel and heat set the reactive spots.
Then I added dots of white gel pen in the centers of the watermarks and directly above the horizon.
To finish off the card, I heat embossed the sentiment “miss you a howl lot” from the stamp set in Platinum Embossing Powder on Pitch black cardstock, trimmed it down and glued to the front of the card.
