Main Kit Only Cards

These cards include only items from the main kit without add-ons. I did use HeroArts infinity dies on two of them, but they are staple items one may almost feel obligated to have in one’s stash (hehehe). In other words, I LOVE them. Let’s get down to business…

Card #1 - Make a Wish

For my first card, I stamped the largest image from the kit with Copic-friendly ink and colored it in with a palette of RV, BG and E markers. This image does ALL the work! It’s so beautiful. Next, I stamped two sentiments in the open spaces and divided them with a bit of confetti from another stamp in the kit. I finished off the card with some Jelly Drop Heart embellishments.

Card #2 - It’s a Good Day

For my second card, I used the same color palette to dress the smaller image in the kit. I stamped a sentiment in the center and adhered it to some Plum cardstock I die cut with a Postage Stamp Infinity Die. For some added sophistication, I stamped the gift box image around the edge of the card base and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. To finish off the card, I popped up the centerpiece with some foam tape.

Card #3 - Tons of Fun

For this card, i die cut the images from the main kit with their coordinating dies. Then, I laid them out on some purple tape to color them with a BG, BV and YR Copic palette. Next, I taped off two triangles with Post-It tape and blended some Hero Hues Hawaii Blue and Pool Party inks. Then, I arrayed the die cuts along the blended design, stamped the sentiment in black and trimmed down the panel to 4 x 5.25 inches. To finish off the card, i raised it up on fun foam and added some embellishments.

Card #4 - Rainbow Blended and Embossed

For the fourth, kit only card, I ink blended a panel with Hero Hues Reactive Inks in Taffy, Lemon Drop, Pool Party and Blue Hawaii. After drying the ink with a heat tool, I heat embossed the main image from the kit in white embossing powder, along with the sentiment and the gift box image.

Next, I die cut an oval out of the center of the panel with an Oval Infinity Die. I die cut another oval a bit larger than the first from some parchment paper and adhered it to the back of the smaller oval. Next, adhered the larger piece to a card base, and I popped the centerpiece up on the front with foam tape. To finish off the card, I adhered some swirls from the kit’s sequin mix to the front for a bit of bling!

Add-ons are Fabulous!

Check out the add-ons from this release. They all celebrate birthdays with unicorn cake, cupcakes, balloons, a fox and a wiener dog! I made several cards with them as well, that I will share in separate posts this week. Keep your eyes peeled. For now, I wanted to share a card I created with the Party Fox Stamp Set and elements from a few others.

Card #5 - Let’s Party Fox

This card required some precision masking. I stamped the fox out on some copy paper and fussy cut it out just inside the black lines of the image. I added some repositionable adhesive dots to the back of the mask and adhered it to the front of a panel I had already stamped with the fox image.

Then, I heat-embossed some confetti from the You’re Top Tier stamp set in white above the fox. Next, i masked off a section of the panel to ink blend a blue streak behind the fox. I used two blue inks: Hawaii Blue and Splash to create a gradient that lightens then darkens again. Then, I colored in the fox with some E and N Copic markers. To finish off the card, I stamped a sentiment from the Festive Balloon stamp set and raised it all up on foam tape in front of a card base.
