Along this blog hop you will see different stamp sets from Brutus Monroe that have some kind of foliage in them.
I chose the Autumn Sunrise stamp set and a greeting from the Feathered Friends stamp set for my card today.
To begin, I stamped out some of the fronds from the Autumn Sunrise set along the bottom of an A2-sized card panel using Raven ink.
Then, i stamp them again on a piece of card stock and ran them through my Brother Scan N Cut to create masks and a stencil. I masked off the stamped images on my panel and used the negative space and a Life-changing blender brush to stencil in some Sage Surface ink behind the stamp fronds.
Then, I used Copic markers to color in the fronds. I stamped the sentiment above the green area and embellished the front of the panel with some rhinestones from my stash!
I love the simplicity and yet striking look of the coloring with the stenciled fronds in the background.
I popped up the panel onto an A2-sized card base with some fun foam and some liquid adhesive.
