Welcome to Del and Artie and my entry in the blog hop today! The B|M Inspiration Team features the new stamps from the June 2019 release. I made two cards for you today using the Grateful 3x4 Stamp and the Spiral Clouds Background Stamp.
To begin my first card, I heat embossed the Spiral Clouds stamp onto a piece of Raven cardstock using Sterling embossing powder. Then I trimmed it down to 5.5 x 3”. Then I adhered it to an A2-sized card base.
Then I embossed the Grateful stamp image with Alabaster embossing powder onto another piece of Raven cardstock. I popped it up on some foam tape and adhered it to the front of the silver embossed clouds at an angle. I finished off the card with some black and clear sequins.
For my second card, I placed my Grateful stamp into a MISTI and inked up the bottom third with Rouge Surface Ink. With a Life-changing Blender Brush, I softened the edge of the ink by tapping it with the brush. I closed the door on the MISTI leaving an unfinished impression of the stamp on my cardstock. Then, I inked up the middle third with some Phonebook Surface Ink and softened the edges of the ink with my blender brush. I stamped the yellow down and repeated the process with the Cornflower Ink. This created an ombre look and from blue to red from top to bottom. Then I stamped the image with Clear embossing ink and heat embossed it with Icicle embossing powder.
I trimmed the panel into a fletched banner and popped it up onto some dark red cardstock. Then I adhered the whole thing onto an A2-sized card base. I finished off the card with some Jelly Drop Hearts from Trinity Stamps.
Thank you for joining me today! I really appreciate you taking the time to read my blog and see the cards I create! If you have been inspired by the cards I made with these supplies, I have created a grid of supplies below. Please keep on hopping today by following the blog hop list at the bottom of this post!
I hope you have a crafty and fun-filled day!
