Good morning everyone. Thank you for hopping along with the Inspiration Team today. The blogs feature the Brutus Monroe Micro Pearls. And I have a very Spring-y card for you today that also showcases this month’s Stamp and Stencil of the Month. Let’s get started!
To begin, I stamped out the Stamp of the Month image three times across the front of the panel. Then I masked off these impressions and stamped the image in between the three to fill out a complete row of tulips. I colored in the images with Copic Markers in the RV and YG families.
I masked off the row of flowers and brought out the Lace Stencil of the Month. Using Picket Fence Life Changing Brushes, I laid down a light amount of Zest Surface Ink. I stamped the sentiment, “Hello Sunshine,” from the Stamp of the Month using Raven Detail Ink.
A couple weeks ago, I learned to tie little bows using a fork and now I want to put them on every card! I didn’t have any ribbon the color of the tulips, so I grabbed some white ribbon and the RV Copic marker I used for the flowers and ran the ribbon under the tip. It matches perfectly! Then, I tied the ribbon in a bow and cut adhered it to the front of the panel with some 1/2 inch double-sided tape.
Using a Kuretake glue pen, I added some dots of adhesive to the leaves of the plants. Then, I poured some green Micro Pearls over the top of the leaves and the tape to add a green border on each side of the ribbon and some embellishments to the leaves. I did the same with the flowers but used some magenta Perfect Pearls, instead.
To finish off my card, I adhered the front panel to an A2 sized card base with some B|M All Purpose Craft Glue.
