Brutus Monroe Inspiration Team Blog Hop - Shining Shimmering Splendid
Hi there!! Welcome to my shiny piece of the Shining Shimmering Splendid Blog Hop Today!
For the shiny part of my card, I used Brutus Monroe’s fabulous new Chroma Glazes in Daffodil and Sapphire. These glazes compare with Glitter Glazes, but without the glitter! They spread like mayo over paper and blend beautifully.
I spread them over December’s Stencil of the Month from Brutus Monroe and let them dry. You can see that I made a beautiful mint green from the two colors I have.
I stamped the Botanical Banners spray image onto some cardstock using Raven Detail Ink and colored in the image with Copic markers in the same shade as the lattice panel. I ran it through my Brother Scan N Cut and popped it up on some double thick foam tape.
I stamped the sentiment banner with Raven Detail ink on a scrap piece of cardstock and fussy cut it out. I adhered it to the front of the panel with the same foam tape.
You may be able to see a bit of a ghosted image on the green part of the glazed background. When i flipped my image over to put the foam tape on it, my glaze was still a little tacky and it pull some of the Raven ink off the stamped image. I LOVED IT!!! I think this may be a technique I highlight on a future card!
I hope you enjoyed this card today. Please hop along with my friends on the team and share your ideas for using Chroma Glaze in the comments bottom section below the grid.
I have included a list of supplies in a grid below. If you have been inspired to go shopping for the items I have featured, this grid should come in handing to get you to the page you need!
