Hero Arts Blog Hop to Support Ukraine
Hey there, Artie! It’s Del! Today we’re joining Hero Arts’ Blog Hop to Support Ukraine. I have joined up with several friends and Hero Arts to share a project and a unique opportunity to benefit the people of Ukraine through the Red Cross.
The blue and yellow of the Ukraine flag symbolize the beauty and calm of the skies above and the joy and prosperity of wheat fields throughout the country. The national flower, the sunflower, symbolizes motherhood. To honor Ukraine, and help counter the devastation and destruction, we are donating 100% of our net profits from sales of this Support Ukraine collection. Funds will be donated to the Ukrainian Red Cross for immediate, on-the-ground help. We will continue our fundraising efforts to also support the long-term rebuilding that will be required to restore schools, roads, homes, and the spirit of the Ukrainian people.
Throughout my post, I will use affiliate links in the photos and hyperlinks. These links let the websites know I sent you their way. For this referral, I receive a percentage of your total purchase price at no additional cost to you. I appreciate your support of my creative efforts.
Supplies:
Step-by-step Instructions
First, I stamped out the Sunflower Fields HeroScapes layers over a card base with Forever Green, then Green Apple, then Dandelion, then Caramel, then Cup of Joe, then Intens-ified Black Inks.
Then, I die cut some Mint Tape out with the coordinating die for the field of sunflowers and masked off the sunflowers.
Next, I used a blending brush to add a gradient of Indigo Ink over the top.
To finish it off, I used an acrylic block to stamp the birds and sentiment.
I hope you enjoy this hop in support of Ukraine! There is so much more to see along the hop. Below you will find a grid of supplies I used. I appreciate you using my affiliate links when you shop. It let’s Hero Arts and the other companies I design for know that I sent you their way!
