Helloooo, Arties!! Welcome to another Hero Arts Extra Post! For the 95th episode of Craft Roulette, I happened to be the guest artist. I wanted to write a post about it and share the card I created during the show!

A few months back, Mary Gunn Funn invited me to appear on her show. You can learn a lot more about Craft Roulette on their website. Here is a snippet from the About the Show section:

On the show, the Wheel chooses a limited set of parameters to guide the creation of the project. These limits do not show up until the wheel reveals them. So, the participants have no way of planning ahead of time. These limits help focus one’s creative energy by narrowing the options available. This forces the crafters to use what they have on hand to create.

Sometimes, we can suffer from decision fatigue and end up not creating anything when we do not intentionally limit the scope of our projects. Crafty challenges do this for us, too.

The wheel treated me kindly and gave me some fairly easy guidelines:

1. Project - Postcard
   This meant I had to make something with inspired by a postcard or that reflected the feel of a postcard. I could also have made a postcard. I chose the Postage Stamp Infinity Dies for this.

2. Colors - Muted + Pop of Bright
   The palette had to consist of muted colors and a pop of bright. I chose gray Copic markers with a pop of red and some Raspberry Jam Ink.

3. Element - Globe(s)
   A globe could have meant a spherical map of earth, but it could also mean a circle. I chose a Nesting Circle Infinity Die to create a window.

4. Random - Horizontal Lines
   This was kind of a throwaway kindness from the wheel. The design had to include a horizontal line. So I used buildings from the A Warm Welcome stamp set and coordinating frame cuts.
