Hero Arts Summer 2021 Catalog Release Blog Hop + Giveaway
Hey Artie!! Hero Arts and the new Summer 2021 Catalog are coming to you today via a huge blog hop. You must have seen some of the previews on the HA blog and instagram this week, but you haven’t seen what all of my friends and I have done with the newest items in this catalog.
Be sure to leave a comment on each stop in this hop for a chance to win one of three $50 shopping sprees to heroarts.com.
Card #1 Succulent Birthday
To create this card…
I heat embossed the CG844 Sun Ray Bold Prints with White Embossing Powder over some Dove White Cardstock.
Next, I added some Bubble Gum Ink over the embossing with a blender brush and trimmed the panel down a 1/4” on all sides.
Then, I popped it up on a top-folding note card with foam tape.
Next, I stamped and colored in the succulent image from the SB275 Succulent Bouquet Combo with Copic Markers and die cut it accompanying frame cut.
Then, I stamped and die cut the sentiment with Intensified Black Ink.
I popped it all up on the front of the pink panel and added some Lacquer Pen drops to finish it off.
Card #2 Have a Killer Day
To create this card, I stamped the CG847 Slanted Checkerboard Bold Prints in blue and then heat embossed it with Sparkling Sea Embossing Powder.
Next, I stamped the small fish images in Pool Ink on some Dove White Cardstock.
Then, I stamped and die cut the Orca images from the SB280 Color Layering Orca Combo in different Hero Arts Blue Inks: Indigo, Dusty Blue, Navy and Black.
I trimmed the white panel at a double angle, then popped it up on the front of the background panel with foam tape.
Then, I created a sentiment strip with Pitch Black Cardstock and White Embossing Powder.
Next, I adhered the Orcas and the sentiment strip to the front of the white panel with Precision Glue and foam tape.
To finish off the card, I added some Winter Sequin Mix and Lacquer Pen.
Card #3 Windmill My Catalog Get Here?
For my third card, I used the DI883 Looking Glass Windmill Tulips to create a three window slimline card.
First, I die cut thee three windows out of Dove White Cardstock using each of the Windmill Tulips dies three times.
Next, I colored each layer in with Copic markers and layered them together with Precision Glue.
I stamped some clouds from Barrel Wave Heroscape Stamp Set out of on some Arctic cardstock and cut them down to fit behind the Windmill dies.
Then, I adhered the sky panels behind the windmills and adhere them all to the front of a 3 x 8.5” slimline panel.
To finish it off, I created a sentiment strip with some Pitch Black cardstock and White Embossing Powder.
I have several other cards I created with this release. Stay tuned to the blog for more from the catalog. You can also keep an eye on my Instagram grid here: instagram.com/delandartie.
