I am bringing you a little project I made this morning with the Bee the Queen stamps and dies and the Abstract Honeycomb Bold Print from Hero Arts.

Hero Arts You’re My Universe Stamps and Coordinating Frame Cuts are available now!

Vignette and Limited Color Palette Technique

Supplies List

  1. Bee the Queen Stamp Set

  2. Bee the Queen Frame Cuts

  3. Abstract Honeycomb Bold Prints

  4. Butter Bar Ink

  5. Copic Markers in Yellow and Warm Gray

  6. Intensified Black Ink

  7. Dove Cardstock

  8. Precision Glue

  9. MISTI Stamping Tool

  10. Foam Tape

  11. Boiled Sugar Hearts

Steps to Create this Card

  1. To create this card, I stamped out the Abstract Honeycomb Bold Prints stamp onto some Dove White Cardstock with Butter Bar Ink.

  2. Then, i created a vignette with a blender brush and some more Butter Bar Ink, leaving a lighter center for the queen.

  3. Next, I stamped the images out with Intensified Black Ink and colored them in with some Yellow and Warm Gray Copic Markers.

  4. I die cut the images out and popped them up onto the front of the panel with foam tape.

  5. Then, I stamped the sentiment “hey hun” in black on the front.

  6. Next, I trimmed down the panel to leave a 1/4” around it and popped it up onto a notecard.

  7. To finish off the card, I added some of my favorite Boiled Sugar Jelly Hearts onto the front with liquid adhesive.
