Part II - Del & Artie Live Recap - Simon Hurley Stamping Foam
Hey there, Artie! Here with another entry for the Simon Hurley Stamping Foam from Saturday’s Del & Artie Live! We made so many backgrounds, I had to make more cards. Check out these cards I created with the Cool Cats Stamp Set.
The stamping foam works like magic to create a mirror image of the stamp or other textured material you press it into.
It keeps its shape until you reheat it, too! So if you get an impression you love, you can keep it.
Another wonderful aspect of this product — it has an easily accessible price point. You can grab 3 or 4 packs for the price of one larger stamp set!
COPIC MARKERS:
Copic markers set the standard for all alcohol-based artist markers. You will find great inventory and personalized customer service at Violeta-Ink. That’s where Del buys his Copic supplies.
In case you missed the LIVE, you can watch the replay and all the antics here!

We Knead to Hang Out Soon
You can watch the replay to see me put the background together.
After creating the fern panel with the Stamping Foam, I stamped the cat images out on some cardstock with Copic friendly ink. I used Gina K Amalgam Obsidian.
Color in the image with coordinating colors. I used warm gray Copic Markers from Violeta-Ink.
Next, I stamped the Water Marble stamp out on some black cardstock with Versamark ink and heat embossed black embossing powder over the top.
Then, I fussy cut the cats out, trimmed down the background and pop it all up on the front of an A2-sized cardbase with foam tape.
Next, I stamped out a sentiment with Versamark ink onto some black cardstock, then melt some white embossing powder over it.
Next, I trimmed down the sentiment strip and adhered it to the front of the card with Bearly Art Glue.
To finish off the project, add some dots of Glossy Accents from Ranger.
This little tiger came together the same way, but I used Black Sparkle Embossing Powder.
