Del & Artie Live Recap: C9 on the 9s + EZ-Lights
Hey there Artie! It’s Del! Here with the recap of last night’s Del & Artie Live: C9 on the 9S. This new series of live shows features Concord & 9th’s latest release paired with Pear Blossom Press’ EZ-LIGHTs. What a combination from two really fantastic small businesses.
Card #1 — Light Up Joy
If you missed the making of this card, I recommend you watch the Del & Artie Live Episode. You can cut down the watch time by adjusting the speed to 2X.
For this project you’ll need these supplies:
Cranberry Ink (C9 is out of stock, CP has a similar color I recommend)
Card #2 - Slimline Noel Mantle
This second card is a slimline with some dimension in mostly an Evergreen Palette with pops of Cranberry Red.
For the second project you’ll need these supplies:
Evergreen Ink (C9 is out of stock, CP has a similar color I recommend)
To begin, I created a slimline card base measuring 8.5” x 3.66”. Next, I masked off the top half of the card with Purple Tape and blended over the top of the panel with Evergreen Ink using an Ergonomic Blender Brush from Pink & Main.
Then, I die cut and stamped the images from Merry Mantle Stamp & Die Bundle. Next, I arranged them all over the front of my card base, popping them up with foam tape. After that, I colored in the imaged with G09, G07, G05, G02, R39, R37, R35, & R32 Copic Markers. I like to keep the palette simple.
Next, I colored over the details of the stockings with a White Gel Pen. I stacked the NOEL die cuts three times with Bearly Art Glue and adhered them over the wreath.
To finish off the card, I adhered some Mistletoe Sequin Mix around the wreath and sentiment.
