Card #1 A No Fail Card Design!
I want to show you a simple, no fail design for a handmade card. You can create multiples of this design using your favorite medium sized stamp, a background stamp (or patterned paper if you like) You can check out the details for this card in the video below!
Card #2 Blue Atlantis
This is one of the sneak peek cards I created for the countdown! You can see all the details on the Hero Arts Blog here!
Card #3 Purple Atlantis Card
For the third card, I created a purple card for Libby! I layered the main sea scape image from the kit using Grape Slush and Blue Hawaii reactive inks as a base. Then, I ink blended on the detail stamp using some different oranges from Hero Arts: Orange Soda & Just Rust. Next, I added some Thistle Reactive Ink very lightly to a panel of Lavender cardstock. Then, I stamped the ruins, mermaid and bubbles images from the kit using some Grape Slush and Thistle Reactive Inks. To create the stenciled background, I die cut the sea shelf frame cuts from the main kit out of some scrap paper and brushed onto the Lavender panel some Grape Slush ink.
To finish off the card, I popped up my die cut sea scape over the Lavender panel, then trimmed it all down to 4 x 5.25”. I stamped the sentiment, “hello friend”, from the kit in Intens-ified Black Ink and added some rhinestone embellishments along the bubbles.
