Hero Arts Stamptember Collaboration with Simon Says Stamp
Hey there Artie! Thanks for joining me today to show off the Simon Says Stamp’s latest Stamptember Collaboration by Hero Arts! Its a stunner! You have to see what Janette Kausen did with this stamp set, too.
I created two very simple and elegant cards for this release, using watercolor paper and just three ink colors, from Gina K.
Check out the video below to see how I created them. You can slow the video down, but the process was super simple.
For the first card, I did some very straightforward stamping using Gina K Designs Coral Reef and Slate Inks. I trimmed the front panel down to 4 x 5.25” and popped it up on fun foam ( did the same thing for the second card, too! )
Card #2
I chose a monochromatic look for this one, and actually used water, this time. I inked up my sprigs stamp and sprayed it with water to create a faux watercolored feel. Then I dried the paper and stamped it again like a normal human being! hahaha. The dandelion like flower head, I inked up one time, stamped it, then, wet it and stamped it four more times! I love the loose watercolor feel of this panel.
I am so excited to get to show this stamp set off to you today. Be sure to check out all the Stamptember inspiration to date… It has been amazing, so far.
