Welcome Home Catherine Pooler February 2019 Release
Hey there! Great to have you stop by today! I wanted to share this card with you from the Catherine Pooler Welcome Home Release from February 2019. You can see the release here!
For this card, I used Aqua Pigments from Brutus Monroe to create a background of Violet and Blue Green. I dropped some of this liquid water color onto my glass mat and dragged some watercolor paper through it. After the paper dried, I cut it down to a circle and adhered it to a card base I made from Catherine Pooler White Cardstock.
Using Midnight Ink, I stamped the images of the house, tree and tire swing from the Happy Place Stamps Set and colored them in with Copic markers. I cut out a panel from another sheet of Catherine Pooler White Cardstock and die cut a circle out of the front. I popped it up on top of the card base where the circle window would show the Aqua Pigments background. I die cut the house, tree and tire swing out using their coordinating dies from the Welcome Home release and adhered them around the bottom of the circle window.
I heat embossed the sentiments from the Happy Place Stamps Set onto some black cardstock with Alabaster Embossing Powder from Brutus Monroe. I trimmed them down to strips and adhered them to the front of the panel. I finished off the card by adding some stars to the sky with a white gel pen.
I hope you enjoyed this card from the Welcome Home Release from Catherine Pooler Designs. I have created a supplies list below for your convenience.
