Card 1: The Not So Wonderful Wishes of a Murderous Snowman
We all know snowmen as kind, jolly and amiable friends we can share our deepest, darkest secrets with. But a small percentage of the snowman population would just assume make snow cones out of you. This one, apparently, cannot be trusted with a heat gun around the others. Hehehe. I find it quite humorous—I hope you do, too!
This card involved some minor freehand. I drew in a heat tool and power chord, as well as a melted snowman with elements from the stamp set. To make the snowman look angry, I gave him eyebrows slanted down and in.
The sky is the new Siren Blue Hybrid Ink from last night, blended in .a gradient down the front of the panel. I colored in the images with alcohol markers and finished it off with Nuvo Berry Blue Crystal Drops.
Card 2 - A Winter Window of Wonderful Wishes
For my second card, we have our good-natured, freshly built snowman in his natural habitat! It’s night time and he is headed out on the town. I wonder where he’s going all dressed up!
To create this one piece window with the stamped image, I used my Brother Scan N Cut machine. Check out the tutorial on my YouTube Channel Here!
Card 3 - Hot Cocoa Couple
Nothing like some hot cocoa when it starts getting cold outside! These two know the truth. Look at their satisfied little faces. I colored them in with Nuvo alcohol markers in coordinating colors: Pink and Mint-ish. I fussy cut the sentiment with my new Tonic Lefty Snips from Tim Holtz, too. You can watch all the action in the video!
